This is the 5th edition of the Glyn Peter Machin product Book. As with the earlier Glyn Peter Machin books 1, 2, 3 and 4, we needed to adjust the entire design of book 5 to the new standards and demands.
It is now a book of 400 pages showing bespoke pieces of furniture that exceeds high quality craftsmanship – it is exquisite.
The design, layout, images, paper quality – the entire feeling of the book had to tell the story about table steel decor cut from 1 piece – not welded ! The story of furniture with solid steel bases. Of using veneer only from the same tree for one furniture. Of perfectly manufactured joints. Of pieces metallic painted, filled and polished again and again and again …
The size of the book increased, the amount of pages is 400, the photographer was hired, images were carefully chosen, effects added to enhance details, the graphic design was changed again and again, paper was tested to find the best suitable, the lacquer finish was custom hand mixed, every single page was carefully examined for paper and lacquer errors, test books were hand bound, and, and, and …
